My home computers run Gentoo Linux and OSX. I am an experienced Java developer, most recently on SUSE Linux, unemployed as of the end of July. I am having my first experience contributing to Open Source with OpenMRS and JavaRosa.

    emerging GCC if your existing GCC is broken

    "I am running Gentoo Linux on an i686 architecture. For some reaons, the version of gcc I have broke. Emerging gcc again does not work because compiling gcc requires having a working compiler...."
