"I would also like to know if it's still happening, as I would like to come, last chance b4 surgery to meet you all."
-
"Is the meetup still happening tomorrow? (May 10th)"
-
"I like Linux."
-
"I'm an I.T. geek, mostly systems, databases, networks. I've become quite the open source evangelist during my career. I'm getting sick of the Microsoft monopoly too. I love Debian, it's the perfect CLI Linux distro out there. "
-
"Hi, I am a casual Linux user and would like to learn more and talk to others :)"
-
"Hello! I used linux while I was at Rhode Island College years ago and would like to know where to get certified as an administrator for as affordably as possible. would I be able to train from home?"
-
"Hi, I run a small start-up in RI. We use Redhat on our servers."
-
"Hi there, I've been using Linux since the late 90s after working with SunOS and wanting something similar at home. My current flavor of choice is Ubuntu. "
-
"My first distro was Gentoo Linux back in late 2003 (v1.4) I have tried others but always go back to Gentoo. The fine level of control and how much gentoo teaches its users about linux leads me to offer it to anyone who is interested in learning more."
-
"Electric Whiteboards are cool."
-
"I've been a linux user for years and I'm a big fan."
-
"I've been using Ubuntu, and more recently Kubuntu, for a year now. I discovered LUGs by reading a comment on Reddit and by searching google found this group."
-
"Hello all, been using Linux for about 3-4 years now, have tried all kinds of flavors, started with Mandrake 8, moved to RedHat, then just went on an experimentation torrent, have used too many to list, currently using and loving Linux Mint 4.0."
-
"hi all - been a gnu/linux user for nearly 4 years now, and i'm a developer of a couple f/oss projects (nitrogen/fsniper/co ntribs to openbox). none of my friends are really into these things so much, so i'd like to meet up with more people who are."
-
"I just started using Linux, and would like to meet people who have been and figure out how to get the most out of the computer. So far I like it, but it has a VERY steep learning curve I've found. I run PCLinuxOS 2007 at present."
-
"Hi Tom. Glad you joined us. :) We look forward to seeing you at the meeting. "
-
"I've been a Unix and Linux admin for years. I think Linux is great on the desktop and would love to meet people who agree. Most people don't :("
