I know this group is geared toward Linux; but OSX is UNIX. Yawl mind if Mac geeks showed up?

The OS is only a tool, it's how you use it that matters - true geeks know this and would not give you any static for OS choice (besides distro wars).

That said, I use a Mac to admin my Linux servers and I have brought it to the meetup with none an eyebrow raised. Seemed like everyone else brought their laptops and current projects also.

The more the merrier! There were several laptops at the last meeting as well as some members embedded projects. Honestly whether it's Linux, Unix, or even Windows, so long as it's a technical discussion I could care less. Hope to see you at the next meeting when the date gets posted.
