- My name is Tony, I work for the FL Dept of Health as a Regional IT Security/Disaster Prep Consultant. I have 13+ years exp in IT although most of it is in Windows. I use Linux at work and for Security research at home. I hold CISSP, GSEC MCSA, ITIL
- Do you feel that GNU/Linux is just another Operating System? Why or Why Not?

Every operating system is just another operating system. However, that being said, Linux provides an outlet for unhindered creativity to flourish and a community that encourages new ideas.
- Have you gotten any relatives or friends interested in Linux?

My mother, unfortunately. Now she won't leave me alone about it, because she is convinced that Microsoft is out to get her.
- Do you like GNU/Linux more for it's price or performance?

Neither. I like it for the variety of security tools available, although I gues it is the free aspect of those tools that intrigues me, so I guess I do like the price point.
- How long have you been a GNU/Linux user?

For about 4 years as a dabbler, 1.5 years as a daily user, and as an admin for about 4 months. (Asterisk, IPCop, etc)
- What is your favorite distro?

Fedora, but I do like several specialized distributions like DSL, Trixbox, IPCop, Knoppix-STD and Helix as well. On a daily basis I use Fedora Core 5 and run Windows inside VMWare when I need to.
