Can anyone recommend a USB video adapter that I could hook up a VCR to? It must be USB as I only have PCI-X slots and there is nothing available for that type of slot.

I am using the ADS DVDXPRESS DX2 from CompUSA. I have it working under Ubuntu 7.04. (Haven't had time to update to 7.10 yet.) It captures best if I use the CLI tools to save the video to a file and then edit it. I had problems with the modules which I had to patch and rebuild but I did not have to rebuild the kernel or reboot. I can create a package or provide a tarball.
