It depends on the way you want your career to go. Personally, I tend to think that every certification that I have is a 'feather in my cap'. But then, I'm committed to my career track. If you plan to use these certifications, or simply to gain the knowledge and discipline that they bring, this is good. I've never regretted the time, cost, or effort I've invested in becoming certified.

I will attend ACC. Im moving from Lake Charles, Louisiana..... I want experience and more knowledge. I want to learn something everyday. I was thinking get my linux + cert first find a entry level job. While working continuing gong to ACC for my CCNA. You think this a good path? I want to utilize them two certs I get.

I dont wanna be a cert storer. You know dont use them..

I just want a breath through the door.

Possibly work for the government . Something that I can do from my wheelchair..
Those certs look flexible and growthy.

So you consider linux+ a entry level cert? If you never work in the IT field and want exp.

In addition to getting certifications, I would recommend you start with a startup and build up real-world experience that way. You'll be wearing many hats and have to improvise often, usually in ways not taught in formal courses.

What do you want to do with your CCNA?
